SAM265M50BS3
The SAM265M50BS3 is a 3-phase brushless motor driver. The module includes six output IGBT transistors, a pre-drive circuit, three bootstrap diodes with current-limiting resistors, and a temperature-sensing thermistor.
Direct Copper Bonding has been adopted in the custom package which achieves a 20% reduction is size for the same power ratings. The external power circuit is simplified by incorporating the freewheeling diodes and current limit resistors within the module itself. Mounting the thermistor on the same substarate as the power components results in faster and more accurate monitoring of the chip temperatures.
The drive circuit is mounted internally but off the substrate so that it runs substantially cooler for improved reliability.
The power module is suitable for industrial equipment like heat pumps and robotic automation machinery.
