What is MUSES?
Discover the MUSES05, the latest op-amp in Nisshinbo's flagship series.
MUSES is a brand of audio semiconductor devices designed specifically for the pursuit of high sound quality. The MUSES series of products are unique in the world and created based on the following concepts:
- The pursuit of sound without colouration, without exaggeration, without loss and faithful to the original sound.
- The pursuit of sound that resonates with the senses and cannot be expressed by numerical values alone.
In other words, development that relies not only on measured values but also a top priority is given to the final sound quality.
High Sound Quality Process
Process tuning is carried out using repeated listening evaluations across a range of audio applications. The transistors were developed exclusively with a high emphasis not only on low noise / THD but by constant checking of the sound quality by listening evaluations.
High Sound Quality Circuit Design
Circuit and layout structures that take sound quality into account, without being bound by chip size restrictions. This has lead to the chip dimensions being approximately four times the size of the chips in more general products.
Oxygen-free Copper Frame
In general, high quality speaker cables and other cables using oxygen-free copper are said to produce higher quality sound than conventional copper. The MUSES flagship series uses high-purity oxygen-free copper for the IC lead frame to reduce degradation during signal transfer.
